Umutu in Pensive Mood as Late Mr Austin Ojo Onwubolu is Laid to Rest

UMUTU/Nigeria: Death is inevitable, but no matter the age it comes, the people feels grief, No Wonder the people of Umutu community in Ukwuani local government Area especially the immediate family members were in deep pains as the remains of Late Mr Austin Ojo Onwubolu the President of Umutu Development Union (UDU) Benin city was buried in his home town.

Mr Austin Ojo Onwubolu was born in 1961 to Pa Ojo Onwubolu of Umuonya family in Umutu where he attended C M S. Primary school (now known as Igili primary school) where he obtained his standard six certificate before proceeding to Abbi Grammar School Abbi. After his secondary education as he  moved on  to Benin in search of greener pastures where he later obtained a Bachelors Degree in Political Science and Public Administration at the prestigious University of Benin (UNIBEN).

He worked with the international Insurance Company NIG LTD, (AIICO) in 1984 and later set up a medicine business which he operated till his demise on January 24th 2021.

Late Austin got married to his heartthrob Mrs Mojisola Betty Ojo in1991 and the union was blessed with five (5) beautiful children.

Until his death late Austin Ojo Onwubolu was the President of the United Association of Nigeria, President of Umutu Development Union (UDU) Benin branch, Secretary of All Branches Forum (ABF), member of the oil and gas committee representing All Branches Forum ( ABF).

In his tribute, the younger brother who is the President General of Umutu Development Union, Comrade Dan Ojo Onwubolu described his late brother as a Mobilizer and a leader of thoughts and humanity.

He was a man of calm disposition, intelligence, articulate, Loving and Forthright. According to Comrade Dan Ojo his late brother was a socialite per excellence and never a dull moment with him. He stand by the truth at all time.”

Comrade Dan Ojo appreciated all those who were present at the burial ceremony while expressing his profound gratitude to Umutu Development Union headquarter, Umutu Development Union Benin branch, Umutu Development Union Obiaruku branch, NULGE, Chiefs, Ministers of God, In-laws and other dignitaries present.
