Ukwuani LGA Chairman Commends Residents Response to Monthly Environmental Sanitation
OBIARUKU/Nigeria: The Executive Chairman, Ukwuani Local Government, Hon (Barr) C.S Possible Ajede has commended Ukwuani people for what he described as massive turnout and compliance with the July monthly environmental sanitation exercise across the LGA.
The council Chairman who supervised the exercise across the LGA called for the sustainance of the exercise in the communities and at homes as according to him cleanliness is next to godliness.
The chairman also mobilized youths to clear refuse, clean and open up the drainage system in the Obiaruku Ultra-modern market; clearing and cleaning the drainage in diving road; clearing and cleaning government facilities in all communities across the LGA.
Barr Ajede noted that as part of his cleanup Ukwuani agenda, that his administration will continue to sensitize the citizens on the need for clean environment and intensify efforts until the LGA is cleared of dirts which are threats to human health.
