OREROKPE/Nigeria: The Executive Director of Projects (EDP) of the Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Dr. Ebenezer Okorodudu, has reaffirmed his commitment to fostering development in Delta State’s oil-bearing communities through collaboration with traditional rulers.

Speaking on Friday during a visit to HRM Maj. General Felix Mujakperuo (rtd), Orhue I, the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom, Okorodudu underscored the importance of royal input in the commission’s projects. He said, “I seek your support and ideas to improve the well-being of our people. From next week, we will tour DESOPADEC projects to evaluate their status and initiate new developments.”

The Orodje commended Okorodudu’s track record and assured him of support while advising the EDP to consult with relevant agencies to prevent project duplication. “You are a square peg in a square hole, and I trust you will deliver,” the monarch added.

Okorodudu pledged to work closely with the DESOPADEC board and other stakeholders to deliver sustainable projects aligned with the MORE Agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
