Tinubu’s Economic Policies Will Deliver Sustainable Progress, Says Dr. Philomena Onoyona
ABUJA/Nigeria: The President of the Hope Restored Advocacy Organization, Dr. Philomena Onoyona, has called on Nigerians to maintain unwavering confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic policies, assuring that they will soon yield sustainable and enduring solutions.
In a statement personally signed and released to the press on Monday, December 16, 2024, Dr. Onoyona commended the President for using his first year in office to lay a strong socio-economic foundation for the nation. She expressed optimism that 2025 would bring social stability, economic growth, and expanded opportunities for human capital development.
“The nation needed more policies and reforms, and Mr. President has delivered through visionary leadership. He has charted a new course, steering the ship of governance toward progress. As we step into the new year, Nigeria is positioned for comprehensive advancement,” she stated.
Dr. Onoyona, who also serves as the President of the Philomena Onoyona Foundation, urged Nigerians to support and pray for the administration, emphasizing that the future holds great promise under President Tinubu’s leadership.
She further appealed to the leadership of the Delta State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to embrace inclusiveness and unity, crucial for electoral success as the 2027 general elections approach. “Closing ranks and fostering collaboration are essential for victory,” she advised, adding that APC leaders must rise above divisiveness to build a stronger political front.
Highlighting the importance of gender parity in politics, Dr. Onoyona argued that dismantling systemic barriers to women’s participation is key to unlocking their leadership potential and driving progress in Delta State. She encouraged the APC to prioritize gender inclusivity as a pathway to political success in the state.
Dr. Onoyona, whose husband was the APC candidate for the Isoko federal constituency election in 2023, congratulated the party on its growing membership. She noted that the caliber of new members joining the party positions the APC for victory in Delta State, expressing confidence that their inclusion would enhance the party’s prospects in future elections.
A native of Agbor Alidinma residing in the United States, Dr. Onoyona reaffirmed her commitment to advocating for policies that promote unity, inclusivity, and sustainable development for Delta State and Nigeria at large.
