Tilije’s Wealth Is Legitimate, Inspires Youths — Onyewonsa Slams Suspended Councillor

LAGOS/Nigeria: A Lagos based media entrepreneur and convener of Nigeria First, Mr. Sunny Onyewosa, a star-studded organisation of top-notch professionals across divides has stated that, the source of wealth and the rising popularity of the Delta State Commissioner for Finance, Sir Okenmor Fidelis Tilije, is an inspiration to younger generation having cut his teeth at early age in financial management and banking even when his critics have not been able to find their bearing in life.
The Ukwuani-born journalist stated this in Abuja, Tuesday in reaction to a post on social media where a councillor (name withheld) who is currently serving an indefinite suspension from legislative activities in Ukwuani Local Government Area vilified and vainfully attempted to impugn the integrity of the highly respected Sir Tilije a man he described as a human development expert, philanthropist, a banking szar and empowerment guru who he said has paid his dues in both politics and a meritorious banking career.
He wondered why people still engage in the “satanic act of pull him down syndrome” saying, were it not for primordial considerations, the suspended councillor attacked the integrity of Sir Tilije who have been answering questions on criminal defamation of the character of noble man who he said is a pillar of integrity.
In the banking sector, Onyewonsa noted that Sir Tijile left a footprint of credibility, excellent-driven hardwork, unblemished trackrecords and a trajectory that should ordinarily inspire hope and aspirations to pursue excellence and hardwork at all times by the younger generations warning that further attacks on Ezionum elders particularly Sir Tilije shall be vehemently resisted, saying, “a prophet is not without honour except in his hometown and among his own relatives and in his own household.”
According to the vociferous writer, “the power to make wealth is of the Lord” and no mortal has the right to question the source of the wealth of a hardworking and versatile personality adding that, in politics, Sir Tilije has doubled his efforts made in the banking sector with weird humility, honesty, patriotism, respect, hardwork, solidarity and absolute loyalty to the people and his political leaders saying, that accounts for his sustained growth and development in politics.
Onyewonsa further stressed that, Sir Tilije remains a work in progress for the alchemy that makes heroes of mortal men adding that his best service to humanity is yet to come as he advised his self acclaimed enemies to desist from undermining the ‘legendary Tilije.’
Stemming from his commendable suspension by his colleagues in the legislative arm of Ukwuani Local Government council, Onyewonsa noted that the elders of his ward steered clear from his predicament owing to his rudity and dearth of respect for the elders of his political party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP describing him as “rebellious rascal and uncaught” whose ignoble disposition has caused a setback to the Ezionum political space.
Wondering the rationale behind his villification of Chief Tilije who he said is a well respected personality across the globe due to his philanthropy and his riches in human values, Onyewonsa said Tilije who was first appointed the Commissioner for Water Resources, and later Commossioner for Finance by the immediate past administration of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and retained by the current administration of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, due to his excellent-driven professional aptitude and his team leadership prowess has served and still serving the good people of Delta State without blemish describing Chief Tilije as a quintessential asset with a heart of gold to men of goodwill.
“I was shocked to read that one of our unbriddled Ezionum sons insulted Chief Tilije, an epitome of humility, philanthropy, sterling and astute character, this is unbecoming of a supposed upcoming young man who ought to be defined by humility and respect for elders. It beats me hollow that the nebulous aim(s) of that fellow glibly tends to drag our foremost financial expert to the mud.
“It suffices to call on Chief Tilije’s teeming followers to maintain the peace and possibly forgive the foolishness of the one who is serving an indefinite suspension from his legislative duties owing to his lack of wisdom and respect for constituted authority. He should be told in clear terms to leave Chief Tilije out of his frustration, retrace his steps, bite the dust, and go back to the basics, which includes begging those his actions may have offended.
“Not even the Ukwani Local Government Chairman, Hon. Possible Ajede is spared from the suspended Councillor’s campaign of calumny and outright blackmail but fortunately, the suspended councillor’s ‘underdogs’ have demonstrated deep understanding, brotherly disposition and statesmanship.” The no nonsense Onyewonsa Stated.
