Tambuwal Media Group Slams APC, Calls for Credible Leadership in 2027

ABUJA/Nigeria: The Tambuwal Media Support Group (TMSG) has strongly criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, over what it described as a “crude and poorly worded” attack on Senator Aminu Tambuwal.
The group, in a statement signed by its National Coordinator, Comrade Benjamin Atu, accused the APC of failing to deliver on its promises while diverting attention with political attacks.
According to TMSG, rather than addressing the pressing economic challenges facing Nigerians, the APC has prioritized targeting Tambuwal, whom they described as the “paragon of morality and conscience in Nigerian politics.” The group urged Morka to take a cue from former Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi, who recently admitted on national television that the APC had failed to meet its promises to Nigerians.
“Felix Morka should hide his face in shame for defending the indefensible,” the statement read. “Even APC governors have acknowledged that the party lacks vision and direction, yet Morka continues to pretend otherwise.” The group dismissed Morka’s remarks about Tambuwal’s past defections, arguing that the APC remains a coalition of politicians united by personal interests rather than national development.
TMSG further criticized the APC’s alleged attempts to turn Nigeria into a one-party state, accusing the ruling party of prioritizing power retention over national progress. It challenged the APC to relinquish power to Tambuwal in 2027, claiming he would achieve in four years what the APC has struggled to accomplish in a decade.
“The APC is overwhelmed by Nigeria’s economic crisis, and its policies have plunged millions into poverty,” the statement continued. “Only a visionary leader like Tambuwal can rescue the country from its current state of despair.”
Describing the APC’s claims of economic progress as “laughable and a mirage,” the group accused the party of hiding behind statistics while Nigerians suffer from rising hunger, unemployment, and insecurity. It warned that public distrust in the APC would continue to grow, leading to the party’s defeat in the 2027 elections.
TMSG called on Nigerians to reject “stomach infrastructure politics” and embrace credible leadership that prioritizes national development over self-interest. “APC must stop believing Nigeria’s survival depends on them. The people will decide their fate in 2027,” the statement concluded.
