WARRI/Nigeria: Chairman of the Delta State Internal Revenue Service, Hon (Chief) Solomon Ighrakpata, has conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to the State Governor, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori, following the recent Supreme Court verdict affirming his victory in the Delta Governorship election.
Reacting to Friday’s Supreme Court ruling, the former lawmaker highlighted the broader significance of the legal battles, asserting, “The ultimate winners of the legal battles were the people of Delta State.” Ighrakpata underscored the court’s decision as a resounding affirmation of the mandate bestowed upon Governor Oborevwore by the citizens of Delta.
Expressing his appreciation for the adherence to legal means by the litigants, namely Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, Chief Kenneth Gbagi, and Ken Pela, Ighrakpata commended their commitment to democratic principles.
