Senior Political Adviser Commends Governor Oborevwori’s Development Strides, Envisions Delta State as Investment and Tourism Hub

ASABA/Nigeria: Senator Emmanuel Aguariavwodo, the Senior Political Adviser to the Governor of Delta State, has reiterated his admiration for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s significant achievements in advancing the state’s development trajectory.

Aguariavwodo expressed his optimism for Delta State’s future, envisioning it as a prominent destination for investments and tourism, underpinned by sustainable growth and effective governance, on Monday, February 4, 2024.

Aguariavwodo lauded Governor Oborevwori’s resilience, likening him to a cat with nine lives for triumphing in all thirty-eight legal battles lodged against him. He attributed the governor’s success to his unwavering principles and moral integrity, which have ensured his unblemished record.

Following the recent victory at the Supreme Court, Aguariavwodo emphasized the imperative of shifting focus towards the comprehensive implementation of Governor Oborevwori’s agenda dubbed “MORE,” aimed at advancing Delta through a range of socio-economic programs. These programs encompass initiatives for wealth and job creation, empowerment of youth and women, enhancement of healthcare services, and adequate funding for educational institutions, among others.

Acknowledging the magnitude of the task ahead, Aguariavwodo urged the Delta State Orientation Bureau to extend its collaboration beyond governmental bodies to include the private sector. He emphasized the need for joint efforts in sensitization campaigns to highlight the diverse investment and tourism opportunities within the state.

Expressing his commitment to actively engage in the Bureau’s activities, Aguariavwodo commended the appointment of Dr. Wilfred Latimore Oghenesivbe as the CEO of the Delta State Orientation Bureau. He praised Oghenesivbe’s expertise in media management and strategic communication, anticipating significant achievements under his leadership.

Dr. Oghenesivbe reciprocated the appreciation, acknowledging Aguariavwodo’s instrumental role in the political landscape and the governor’s unwavering support.
