Senator Ned Nwoko to Expand Sports Facilities to Ika and Ndokwa Constituencies
ABUJA/Nigeria: Senator Prince Ned Munir Nwoko, renowned for his dedication to youth empowerment and community development, is set to extend his sports infrastructure projects to Ika South and Ndokwa West Local Government Areas in the 2025 Appropriations Bill. The success of the 2024 sports facility project, currently underway at Issele-Uku Stadium, sets the foundation for this expansion. With 70% of the project already completed, the facility boasts a football pitch, dressing rooms, and a spectator pavilion designed to meet international standards. This achievement highlights Senator Nwoko’s vision of delivering world-class amenities to support local and regional sporting events.
In the 2025 Appropriations Bill, Senator Nwoko plans to replicate this model in Ika South and Ndokwa West. The proposed facilities will include state-of-the-art football pitches, dressing rooms, and spectator pavilions, fostering hubs for sporting excellence and community growth in these constituencies.
