ABUJA/Nigeria: As Christians across Nigeria mark the Easter celebration, Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North Senatorial District, has extended warm greetings to the faithful, urging deep reflection, national renewal, and unity among citizens.

In a message released on Easter Sunday, Senator Nwoko described the season as a pivotal time for spiritual reflection and personal renewal. He called on Nigerians to embrace the core values of Easter—peace, compassion, and hope—as critical tools for fostering stronger national bonds and healing divisions.

“As we mark the Easter season, I extend warm greetings to all Christians across Nigeria,” Senator Nwoko said. “May this period of reflection and renewal strengthen our shared commitment to peace, compassion, and national unity.”

The senator, widely known for his advocacy in education, youth empowerment, and malaria eradication, stressed the need for Nigerians to come together in the spirit of Easter, supporting one another and working towards a more inclusive and prosperous country.

He further encouraged Christians to draw inspiration from the sacrifice and resurrection of Christ by showing love, empathy, and renewed commitment to the welfare of others.

“Let this Easter be a reminder of the power of sacrifice, hope, and the unifying strength of love,” he added.

Senator Nwoko urged Nigerians of all faiths to seize the occasion to pray for the peace and stability of the nation and to reaffirm their dedication to building a just and united society.

Easter, one of the most significant events in the Christian faith, commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ and symbolizes renewal, faith, and redemption — themes Senator Nwoko said should inspire all Nigerians during this critical period in the nation’s history.
