Safety Failure: Chevron Get Knocked For Operational Hazard …As Potholes Threatens Commuters in Delta

WARRI/Nigeria: Oil giant Chevron Nigeria Limited, CNL has been accused and knocked over safety failure and exposure to hazardous operations within its areas of operation in Warri, Delta.

The accusation of CNL for condoling safety hazards came from a popular legal luminary, Chief in Warri Kingdom, Chief Barr. Robinson Ariyo, while narrating the terrible road crashes that occurred along NPA expressway by Chevron Texaco as result of the POTHOLE there said that portion of the road have recorded fatal road crashes as well as tankers with products finding it difficult to navigate pass the road.

Chief Ariyo who is also a development consultant, blamed CNL for playing “I don’t care attitude” by not doing immediate repairs and filling the particular failed spot on the expressway.

He noted that Chevron also uses the turning point of the expressway to bring in their goods and services with heavy trucks turning more often than others as well as for their staffers use hence the urgent call to do the needful.

Chief Ariyo and other concerned Deltans urged Chevron Nigeria Limited to be proactive and take up palliative by filling the bad deep portion of the road for safety, better use as part of their corporate social responsibility to the area and environment they operate in order to save lives and commuters plying the route especially during the Yuletide.
