Police Arrest 11 Cultists In Delta Community, Recover Guns, Live Cartridges

UGHELLI/Nigeria: Following the clash between two rival cult groups in Agbarho community, the Commissioner of police, Delta State Command, CP Ari Mohamed Ali has directed the command, Anti- cult unit, Dragon Patrol team and Police operatives in Agbarho to comb the community and investigate the incident in order arrest the cultists.
The DPO, Agbarho Division, CSP Sam Ogwa, who led the team on the investigatory crusade, succeeded in arresting eleven suspected cultist who were actively involved in the clash that led to the death of five youths in the community and recovered two pump Actions guns, one cut to size locally made gun, eight expander cartridges and ten live cartridges.
While addressing press men, the DPO, Agbarho Division stated that the search for the cultists still at large will be intensified. He went further to warn that it is better for the cultists to surrender themselves than to wait to be caught. He also admonished the youth in Agbarho to shun cultism and engage in meaningful social activities that can add value to their lives.
Agbarho is currently experiencing peace as the police has brought in more patrol team into the community to restore law and order in the area.
