Peaceful Climate Vital for Delta State’s Economic Prosperity – Osuoza

ASABA/Nigeria: Dr. Ifeanyi Michael Osuoza, the Commissioner for Information in Delta State, has reiterated Governor Oborevwori’s unwavering commitment to fostering sustainable peace across the state.
In a press release highlighting the government’s direction since assuming office on May 29, 2023, Governor Oborevwori’s administration he said the government has placed peace at the forefront of its governance strategy.
The commissioner emphasized that peace has been embedded within the comprehensive MORE Agenda, specifically under the Enhanced Peace and Security mandate.
“Peace and security are indispensable prerequisites for social and economic prosperity.” He stated.
He further elaborated on the tangible benefits of prioritizing peace, which includes facilitating job creation initiatives, elevating living standards, upholding social stability, and catalyzing substantial social and infrastructural development projects.
Osuoza underscored the undeniable correlation between peace and progress, noting that sustainable development can only thrive in an atmosphere devoid of strife and conflict. He urged all citizens to support Governor Oborevwori’s peace-building efforts, emphasizing that embracing peace is not only a civic duty but also an investment in the collective prosperity of Delta State.
