Osakwe Family Sets December 24 for Matriarch’s Historic Installation as Ada of Anieyime
IGBODO/Nigeria: The Osakwe family of Ndobu-Igbodo, in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State, has announced December 24, 2024, as the date for the installation of their matriarch, Mrs. Evelyn Nbanugor Osakwe, as the Ada of Anieyime Quarter, Igbodo.
This significant cultural event marks the celebration of Mrs. Osakwe as the oldest woman in the Anieyime Quarter, an honor rooted in the traditions and cultural heritage of the people of Igbodo.
The installation ceremony is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. at Anieyime Quarter, with dignitaries, community leaders, relatives, friends, and well-wishers from across the region expected to attend.
A statement from the Osakwe family revealed that a reception and entertainment for guests would follow immediately after the ceremony at the celebrant’s residence in Ndobu Quarter, Igbodo.
“This historic occasion is a celebration of longevity and divine blessings. Attaining the position of the Ada as the oldest woman in a community is a rare honor and a testament to God’s grace,” the statement read.
