Omo-Agege to Innuagurate Kwale Medical University, Strengthen Grassroots Ties in Delta South

WARRI/Nigeria: Delta State is set for a flurry of developmental and political engagements as Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, CFR (KSJI), leads the groundbreaking ceremony for the Federal University of Medical and Health Sciences, Kwale. The landmark event, scheduled for Monday, February 24, 2025, is expected to enhance education and healthcare access in the state.
The establishment of the university stands as one of Senator Omo-Agege’s legacy projects, reflecting his commitment to infrastructural advancement and human capital development. The institution is poised to deliver quality education and healthcare services to residents of Delta and beyond. The ceremony is expected to attract key political figures and stakeholders from across the state.
Following the groundbreaking, Senator Omo-Agege will embark on a series of interactive meetings across the Delta South Senatorial District, engaging stakeholders on grassroots mobilization and inclusive governance. Residents and political leaders are encouraged to participate in these sessions to discuss pressing developmental issues and party strategies.
According to Chuks Erhire, the senator’s itinerary includes visits to eight local government areas, beginning on Wednesday, February 26, in Patani and Warri South, followed by Burutu and Bomadi on February 27. Other stops include Warri North, Warri South West, Isoko South, and Isoko North, with a break on February 28 for the burial of Chief Simeon Efenudu in Otor-Owhe. The meetings will conclude on March 3, 2025.
