Omo-Agege Seeks Tinubu’s Backing for Delta’s Growth Agenda
ABUJA/Nigeria: Former Senate President and 2023 Delta APC governorship candidate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, met with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa on Saturday, discussing national progress with a focus on Delta State.
Omo-Agege confirmed the meeting via his verified social media handles on Sunday, sharing a photo of himself with Tinubu. He described the discussion as “productive,” highlighting issues of growth and development.
The visit comes weeks after a delegation of Delta APC leaders, led by Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Olorogun Festus Keyamo, also met with the president.
Omo-Agege, who recently embarked on a tour to appreciate party members across Delta’s 25 local government areas, previously served as Deputy Senate President from 2016 to 2023.
