Ochor Lauds TEAM S.M.A.R.T for Okowa
Agbor: The leadership and members of TEAM S.M.A.R.T for Okowa had been appreciated for helping to promote the economic policies of the Delta State Government under Senator Ifeanyi Okowa.
The appraisal was made by the Executive Director, Social Services Development, on the Board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, (DESOPADEC), Hon Ochor Chris Ochor, during the inauguration and investiture of the Patrons and Patronesses, and some Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) chieftains at Agbor, Ika South LGA of Delta state.
Hon Ochor, who spoke unbehalf of the recipients, says that from the inception of the group, to the time of the inauguration, from available information, the leadership which is made up seasoned administrators had proved that they can assist to deliver government policies to the people of Delta state.
Advising the leadership, he called on them to be patience, as the journey to achieve any dream is never easy.
“The journey and work is not easy, this is why I have to say you will have a lot of patience, a lot of forgiveness, and a lot of hardwork for you to deliver”. He said.
He told the group, that they will receive all the necessary supports for them to succeed from the patrons.
While lauding the group for the achievements made within a short period of formation, he called on them to launch into the wards and units of the state to promote the activities of the body, and policies of the government of Delta state.
Speaking to journalists at the end of the occasion, Hon Ochor praised the achievements of Gov. Okowa for delivering the dividend of democracy to Deltans at all sectors of development in the state, saying that the vote of confidence passed on the governor by the group is well deserved.
