Ochor Congratulates Newly Sworn-in Commissioners ….Highlights Youth Inclusiveness for Future Growth

ASABA/Nigeria: Rt. Hon. Ochor Christopher Ochor, the former Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, has extended his congratulations to the newly sworn-in commissioners of Delta State, stating that the ceremony marks the beginning of full-fledged governance activities in the state.

The swearing-in ceremony, held in Asaba the state capital on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, was graced by prominent political figures and supporters of the state administration, and family and friends of the new commissioners.

The former Deputy Speaker passionately expressed the significance of the event said. “With the swearing-in of these commissioners, the wheels of governance in Delta State are now set in motion,”

He noted the promising trajectory that the state’s future holds, with reference to the mixture of the old and the young in the new cabinet.

“The blend of experienced stalwarts and fresh voices in this cabinet sets the stage for a vibrant and promising future for Delta State,” he stated with conviction.

He lauded several notable names within the new cabinet, prominently highlighting the contributions of Sir Fidelis Okenmor Tillije, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, and Hon (Princess) Pat Ajudua. Rt. Hon. Ochor underscored these individuals’ proven track records and their potential to amplify the state’s growth.

“Sir Fidelis Okenmor Tillije’s financial acumen has been instrumental in our progress, and his reappointment is a testament to the Governor’s unwavering faith in his capabilities,” Rt. Hon. Ochor acclaimed.

Turning his attention to Hon Princess Pat Ajudua, he praised her unwavering commitment to the state’s betterment during her tenure as a House Member. “Her appointment underscores the government’s commitment to rewarding dedication and excellence,” he stated emphatically.

Rt. Hon. Ochor did not overlook the pivotal role played by Charles Aniagwu, the Commissioner of Information in the previous government, as he said. “Charles Aniagwu’s transparency efforts have bolstered trust and accountability. His continued involvement is integral to our progress,” he asserted.

However, what stood out most in the former Deputy Speaker was his resounding appreciation for the state’s renewed focus on youth inclusiveness.

“Governor Sheriff Oborivwoeri’s recognition of the vitality of youth participation is commendable,” he extolled.

“By melding experience with youthful dynamism, we are poised for remarkable growth in infrastructure and human development.”

Rt. Hon. Ochor expounded on the synergy between the administration’s seasoned players and its vibrant young minds.

“Delta State’s strategic amalgamation of experience and youthful energy will undoubtedly breathe life into the M.O.R.E agenda, steering us towards an even brighter future,” he affirmed.
