Oborevwori’s Visionary Leadership Transforming Delta State – Oghenesivbe
ASABA/Nigeria: The Director General of the Delta State Orientation and Communications Bureau, Dr. Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, has praised Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s leadership, describing it as visionary and transformative.
Oghenesivbe made these remarks during a recent appearance on a national television program in Lagos, where he highlighted the governor’s commitment to good governance and the lasting impact his administration is having on the state.
According to Oghenesivbe, since taking office, Governor Oborevwori has prioritized several key projects aimed at improving the lives of Delta residents. Among these, he emphasized the ongoing construction of three flyovers, pedestrian bridges, and walkways, which are designed to ease traffic congestion, improve road safety, and stimulate economic activities in the state.
The Director General also praised the governor for initiating free medical services for students in higher institutions, reflecting a focus on health and well-being. He added that the regular payment of student bursaries has significantly alleviated financial burdens, enabling students to concentrate on their academics. Additionally, Oborevwori’s recent approval of financial assistance for Delta State students attending the Nigerian Law School has further demonstrated his inclusive, non-partisan approach to governance.
Oghenesivbe further noted the governor’s strategic efforts to boost the state’s economy, including the recent disbursement of millions of Naira to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), aimed at stimulating economic growth, creating jobs, and encouraging innovation.
The governor’s focus on sports infrastructure development, particularly the planned transformation of the Warri Township Stadium into a world-class sports facility, coupled with substantial funding for sports events, underscores his dedication to youth development and securing a brighter future for the state.
Oghenesivbe called on the people of Delta State to continue supporting Governor Oborevwori’s initiatives, noting that collective support is essential for building a more prosperous, equitable, and sustainable future for all.
