Oborevwori’s Outstanding Performance No Surprise to Me, Says Oghenesivbe
WARRI/Nigeria: Director General of the Delta State Bureau for Communications and Orientation, Dr. Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, has said he is not, and will never be, surprised by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s excellent performance in office, having known his capabilities for over four decades.
He made the disclosure on Saturday while speaking as a guest on Rize FM Radio, Warri, via telephone, recalling that his association with Governor Oborevwori dates back more than 40 years.
Dr. Oghenesivbe noted that the governor had always maintained a classy lifestyle and high standards in all aspects of life, a discipline he said is now reflected in the quality of completed and ongoing projects across the three senatorial districts of Delta State.
The Bureau Chief further explained that he worked long hours projecting the ‘Sheriff Brand’ during the 2022/2023 electioneering because of his firm conviction that Oborevwori would make Delta proud in all sectors. He added that the numerous national awards bestowed on the governor recently are clear testimonies to the high quality and uniqueness of his infrastructural projects.
On peace and security, Dr. Oghenesivbe said Governor Oborevwori has remained committed to supporting security agencies, providing operational vehicles and equipment. He pointed out that the governor recently distributed over 40 Hilux vans to the State Police Command, the NDLEA, and other security outfits to boost surveillance, quick response, and effective policing across the state.
He assured that the state government would continue to strengthen security logistics across the three senatorial districts, noting that Delta remains one of Nigeria’s most peaceful states and the fourth largest economy, thanks to the result-oriented economic remodeling policies of the Oborevwori administration under the MORE Agenda.
“I am not surprised at all over the enviable performance of my leader and boss, Rt Hon . Sheriff Oborevwori. I have known him for more than four decades and counting,” Oghenesivbe said.
“His core principles are anchored on integrity, equity, justice, and high ethical standards, especially in the area of service to humanity.”
“These principles, which are integral parts of visionary leadership, clearly resonate in the governor’s dynamic work ethics, accountability, prudent management of state resources, and the delivery of high-quality projects.”
“I spent long hours working round the clock, projecting the ‘SHERIFF BRAND’ for governor in 2022/2023 because I knew he was, and still is, the right man for the job. He’s on duty for the advancement of Delta State till May 29, 2031, by the grace of God.”
