Oborevwori Greets Ex-Minister Chris Agbobu at 70, Praises His Exemplary Service

ASABA/Nigeria: Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended warm congratulations to former Minister of State for Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Christopher Agbobu, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, in Asaba, Governor Oborevwori commended Chief Agbobu for his outstanding record of service to Delta State and Nigeria, noting that his contributions to public life have been both impactful and enduring.

The Governor highlighted Agbobu’s distinguished career, including his tenure as a two-time minister, his service as former Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Council, and his role as a member of the Delta State Peace and Advisory Council. He described Agbobu as a respected educator and political figure whose mentorship and leadership continue to inspire new generations.

“On behalf of my family, the government, and the good people of Delta State, I heartily congratulate an illustrious son of Delta, Chief Christopher Ashimedua Agbobu, as he marks his 70th birthday,” Oborevwori said. “You have consistently demonstrated unwavering commitment to the growth and development of Aniocha South and the state at large.”

Governor Oborevwori joined family, friends, and well-wishers in celebrating the Ubulu-Unor-born elder statesman, praying for God’s continued guidance, good health, and strength for Chief Agbobu in his continued service to humanity.
