Oborevwori Celebrates Former Deputy Governor Otuaro at 57, Hails Role in Delta’s Peace and Development

ASABA/Nigeria: Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated the immediate past Deputy Governor, Deacon Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, on his 57th birthday, applauding his patriotic service and vital contributions to peace, governance, and regional stability.
In a statement issued on Wednesday in Asaba by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, Governor Oborevwori described Otuaro as a dedicated statesman and committed party leader whose efforts were instrumental to the success of the ‘Smart Agenda’ and ‘Stronger Delta’ initiatives under the last administration.
He particularly praised Otuaro’s leadership of the Peace Advocacy Committee Against Oil Facility Vandalism, which played a pivotal role in curbing unrest and boosting crude oil production in the state and the wider Niger Delta. The governor also recalled the honour bestowed upon him in 2019 as Niger Delta Peace Ambassador by Daily Independent Newspapers, in recognition of his contributions to peace-building.
“On behalf of my family, the government, and the good people of Delta State, I congratulate you, my dear brother and former Deputy Governor, Deacon Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, Esq., as you mark your 57th birth anniversary,” Oborevwori said.
“As a committed party member and statesman, your contributions to the growth and progress of Delta State remain remarkable. With your continued support and that of fellow Deltans, we will press forward in building the Delta of our dreams—anchored on peace, security, and sustainable development.”
The governor prayed for God’s continued grace upon Otuaro, wishing him good health and many more years of impactful service to humanity and devotion to divine purpose.
