Oborevwori Aide Urges Deltans to Embrace Local Banking with Delta Trust Mortgage Bank

ASABA/Nigeria: Dr Patrick Ighomrore, Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor, has issued a compelling call for Deltans, particularly civil servants and political appointees, to open accounts with the state’s financial institution, Delta Trust Mortgage Bank.

His appeal came during a visit to the bank’s head office in Asaba on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.

During the courtesy visit, Dr Ighomrore met with the bank’s Chairman, Hon. (Dr) Jude Ogbimi,  commending the ongoing transformation within the institution, during which he took the opportunity to collect account opening forms and passionately encouraged community members to support the bank, emphasising that it serves as an essential local resource for economic empowerment.

He praised the innovative initiatives being implemented under Hon. Ogbimi’s leadership. He articulated the importance of backing local financial institutions like Delta Trust Mortgage Bank, which play a crucial role in fostering economic growth within the state.

“This bank is ours, and it is imperative that we rally around it to foster its growth and sustainability,” he declared.

Responding to Dr Ighomrore’s visit, the Chairman expressed his appreciation for the engagement, recognising the importance of such visits in fortifying the relationship between the bank and the community.

He reiterated the bank’s commitment to the MORE Agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, which aims to implement transformative initiatives that will elevate the state’s socio-economic landscape.

Hon. Ogbimi further assured that the transformations going on at Delta Trust Mortgage Bank are focused on enhancing service delivery and customer satisfaction. He expressed confidence that these improvements would position the bank as a premier financial institution in the state, ultimately fostering greater economic empowerment for the people of Delta State.
