Instead, he calls on his friends and well-wishers to channel their celebratory spirit towards making a difference in the lives of the less fortunate.
Peter Obi, renowned for dedicating his birthdays to the underprivileged or the sick, stated that the current mood in the country doesn’t warrant any lavish festivities. In a pre-birthday message released on Monday, July 17, Obi expressed gratitude to God for His blessings but emphasized that celebrating personal milestones seemed inconsequential in the face of Nigeria’s deplorable state.
