Nigerian Diaspora Coalition Launches Global ‘Reclaim Nigeria’ Protest, Calls for Bola Tinubu’s Resignation

ABUJA/Nigeria: About 30 different Nigerian diaspora organizations, united under the banner of the Coalition of New Nigeria Diaspora Movement (CNNDM), have announced their intent to initiate a global “Reclaim Nigeria Diaspora protest” to expose President Bola Tinubu and demand his immediate resignation.

The group is also urging the European Union, United Kingdom, United States of America, and other nations to swiftly impose visa bans on all the Justices and Judges of the Appeal and Supreme Courts responsible for the judgments that legitimized Bola Tinubu as President of Nigeria, with the ban extending to their families.

Speaking at a press conference on Monday, Secretary General of the coalition, Jackson Ude, revealed that CNNDM has pledged to assist in mobilizing and supporting any domestic groups in Nigeria willing to join their movement and participate in the 30-day mass protests aimed at reclaiming Nigeria.

Ude emphasized, “In our determination to save Nigeria’s democracy, deepen democratic institutions and values, protect our shared common interests, and safeguard the integrity of our country, the leadership of 30 different Nigerian diaspora organizations concluded a meeting that began one week ago to review the sham judgment of the Supreme Court of Nigeria on October 26, 2023, and demand that Bola Tinubu must resign to save the integrity of Nigeria’s presidency.”

He continued, “It is our belief that Mr. Tinubu not only rigged the 2023 Presidential elections but also lacks the academic credentials to run for the elections. Tinubu forged the Chicago State University degree certificate, committing forgery for which he must be prosecuted. Tinubu is also a member of a drug cartel in the United States of America, as per FBI documents recently released. He committed drug crimes.”

Ude expressed concerns over Tinubu’s influence on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the Nigerian judiciary, leading to the Supreme Court legitimizing his presidency despite substantial evidence of election fraud, forgery, and criminal activities. In response, millions of Nigerians in the diaspora, united under CNNDM, have resolved to take action and demand immediate institutional reforms, as well as the resignation of Bola Tinubu.

The key points of CNNDM’s agreed plan include:

Organizing a global “Reclaim Nigeria Diaspora Protest” to expose Bola Tinubu’s alleged criminal activities and demand his immediate resignation.

Mobilizing and supporting Nigerian groups to participate in the 30-day mass protests to reclaim Nigeria.

Engaging Nigerian Americans to reach out to their congressmen and urge them to initiate an investigation into the 2023 Presidential elections in Nigeria, the Chicago State University certificate scandal, and the FBI’s stance on prosecuting Tinubu for his crimes.

Raising $10 million for the planned 30-day protests and litigations against Bola Tinubu in the United States.

Calling on the EU, UK, and US to impose visa bans on the Justices and Judges responsible for the judgments that legitimized Tinubu’s presidency, extending the ban to their families.

Tasking the Contact and Mobilization Committee to announce a date for the protests soon.

The coalition has committed to exerting local and international pressure to compel Bola Tinubu’s resignation, organizing protests in every country he plans to visit to highlight the allegations of certificate forgery and drug-related criminal activities.

Their objective is to “reclaim Nigeria from the hands of criminals who have taken over the country.” CNNDM asserts that Bola Tinubu remains an illegitimate President of Nigeria, citing drug crimes and certificate forgery as disqualifying factors that he concealed during his 2023 Presidential election campaign.
