Ned Nwoko’s Delegation Pays Tribute to Asagba of Asaba after Coronation

ASABA/Nigeria: A high-ranking delegation representing Senator Ned Nwoko visited the palace of the newly coronated Asagba of Asaba, His Royal Majesty, Obi Professor Epiphany Chigbogu Azinge (SAN), in a colourful and respectful ceremony on Sunday. The visit followed the historic enthronement of the 14th Asagba of Asaba, marking a momentous occasion for the Delta North region.

Leading the delegation, Ogbueshi Godfrey Odogwu, acting on behalf of Senator Nwoko, paid homage to the royal father, informing him that their visit was an advance gesture ahead of an official homage from the distinguished senator, who represents Delta North at the National Assembly.

Delta North elder Chief Emmanuel Eboh, accompanied by the head of Senator Nwoko’s senatorial office in Asaba, High Chief Eze-Ugo Asibelua, and seasoned media professional Comrade Norbert Chiazor, praised the Asagba’s remarkable rise to the throne. They highlighted his unique combination of royal dignity and towering academic achievement, celebrating him as an iconic figure.

In return, the Asagba of Asaba bestowed his royal blessings upon the delegation, a gesture deeply appreciated by all present. The ceremony underscored the significance of the occasion and the profound respect shared between the royal institution and the political leadership of Delta North.
