Ned Nwoko Warns Against Fake Social Media Accounts
ABUJA/Nigeria: The Office of Senator Prince Ned Munir Nwoko has alerted the public to the proliferation of fake social media accounts impersonating the senator on Facebook and Instagram.
In a statement issued by Hon. Gloria Okolugbo, Communication Director for the senator, the public was advised to rely solely on the official, verified accounts marked with a blue tick for authentic updates and announcements.
“Any post or communication not originating from the verified accounts with the blue tick is not authorized and does not represent Senator Nwoko or his office,” the statement read.
The office urged individuals to exercise caution, disregard content from unverified sources, and report any suspicious accounts to the respective social media platforms.
Followers are encouraged to engage with the senator’s verified accounts for accurate information and genuine interactions.
This advisory aims to protect the public from misleading content while ensuring that Senator Nwoko’s official communications remain credible and accessible.
