Ned Nwoko Urges Peace, Righteousness at Easter
ASABA/Nigeria: As Christians mark Easter celebration, Hon Prince Ned Nwoko, popularly called The Star Prince of Anioma and foremost philanthropist, has called for social harmony and positive attitude.
In an Easter message to Christendom and the larger society, Prince Nwoko said the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ demanded deep spiritual awakening towards a culture of peace and righteousness among all.
Ina statement endorsed by Comrade Norbert Chiazor on behalf of Ned Media Directorate, Prince Nwoko tasked all Nigerians irrespective of religion, tribe and political leaning to emulate Jesus Christ, the supreme symbol of Easter as exemplified by a character of peaceful spirit, fellow-feeling, godly gait, tolerance, humility, truth, integrity, service and sacrifice.
According to Nwoko: “The history of Jesus Christ is defined by moral rectitude and undying passion for common good. His essence spoke of selflessness, devoid of greed and corrupt tendencies. Deltans and indeed all Nigerians must imbibe his lifestyle for a better and more meaningful society. We must shun disharmony, manipulation, violence, crime and related vile pursuits in all spheres of our lives. Let the peaceful personality of Christ trail the footsteps of all.”
“Wishing all Nigerians especially Christians a blessed and blissful Easter celebration,” the statement added.
