Ned Nwoko Partners with Youth Group to Drive Empowerment Initiatives

ABUJA/Nigeria: Senator Prince Ned Munir Nwoko, widely acclaimed for his transformative leadership, has taken a bold step toward youth empowerment by partnering with the Society for the Welfare of Unemployed Youths of Nigeria (SWUYN).

This collaboration underscores his dedication to socio-economic development in Delta North and beyond.

During a meeting held at his National Assembly office and facilitated by Mr. Eric Ogbekene of E & O Global Konsuktz Ltd, SWUYN presented its mission to advocate for unemployed youths. Senator Nwoko, impressed by their structured and focused approach, praised their initiative.

“It is organizations like SWUYN that demonstrate the power of focus, strategy, and determination in addressing the challenges facing our society. The youth must always remember that action is the first step to change,” he remarked.

To ensure alignment of vision, the senator requested a clear declaration of their mission statement, which the group delivered. He then tasked SWUYN with developing a comprehensive framework outlining strategies for skill acquisition, employment generation, and entrepreneurial development. This blueprint will form the basis of their collaboration, aimed at delivering impactful programs.

Hon. Gloria Okolugbo, Director of Communications in the senator’s office, lauded SWUYN for setting a commendable example. “This partnership demonstrates that when youths organize and present structured solutions, they can attract the support needed to drive real change. It is a model worthy of emulation by other groups across Nigeria,” she stated.

As Senator Nwoko continues to prioritize youth empowerment, this partnership is expected to become a symbol of progress, proving that visionary leadership and proactive youth initiatives can create lasting change.
