Ned Nwoko Delivers Millions in Medical Equipment to Delta North Healthcare Centres
IDUMUJE-UGBOKO/Nigeria: Senator Ned Nwoko has fulfilled his campaign promise to improve healthcare delivery in Delta North Senatorial District with the donation of medical equipment worth millions of naira to primary healthcare centres across the region.
The presentation ceremony, held at Idumuje-Ugboko in Aniocha North Local Government Area, underscored Nwoko’s commitment to enhancing rural healthcare and living standards.
During his 2023 senatorial campaign, Nwoko pledged to bring positive changes to the healthcare sector, particularly in underserved rural areas. Keeping his word, the Senator delivered an array of medical equipment, including hospital beds, trolley stretchers, examination and delivery couches, nursery cots, syringes, diagnostic sets, sterilizers, dissecting and dressing forceps, and more.

Complementing the medical supplies were essential items such as refrigerators, generators, solar lamps, fire extinguishers, benches, and chairs to support the efficient functioning of healthcare centres.
Healthcare facilities in Aniocha North, Ika North East, Oshimili South, and Ndokwa West received the items, which were handed over to the executive secretaries of the local government health authorities.
Dr. Micheal Nwoko, representing Senator Nwoko at the event, presented the equipment to officials, including Dr. Chiemeka Samson, Ekakitie Nkemdili, Aruegbe Violet, and Ogwu Fidelis. The recipients expressed heartfelt gratitude, describing the gesture as timely and exemplary.
Six months ago, Senator Nwoko hosted a medical outreach across Delta North communities, where he called for stronger collaboration among health authorities to improve rural access to healthcare services. His latest initiative further demonstrates his unwavering dedication to the health and wellbeing of his constituents.
