Midwestern Oil and Gas Donates Lecture Halls To School Of Marine Technology Kwale Campus

KWALE/Nigeria: In a bid to expand the education landscape for Deltans and Nigerians in general, the Delta State School of Marine Technology, Burutu, Kwale Campus has added more infrastructure to the growth and development of the institution.
Two blocks of six Lecture Hall built by Midwestern Oil and Gas Company Limited on a Land donated by Umusam- Ogbe Community has been successfully handed over to the Delta State School of Marine Technology, Burutu, Kwale Campus.
At the ceremony which was held in the Kwale Campus of the institution, the Rector, Prof. James Okoro applauded the Umusam-Ogbe Community and the entire staff of Oil and Gas Company Limited for their kind gesture towards the educational development in the Campus.
He admonished the students of the institution to make good use of the facilities put in place by the Company, adding that the good gesture would not be forgotten.
He stressed that the students should also respect and obey the norms and values of the host community (Kwale) so as to sustain the existing peace the institution had enjoyed over the years.
