Maris Trust Council Announces Ukodhiko as Chairman for 2024 Public Service Lecture
ASABA/Nigeria: The Maris Trust Council has revealed that Hon. Pastor Jonathan Ajirioghene Ukodhiko will serve as the Chairman for the upcoming 2024 edition of the Maris Annual Public Service Lecture. Comrade Fidelis Egugbo, Secretary of the Maris Trust Council, made the announcement, emphasizing Ukodhiko’s acceptance of the role.
Egugbo highlighted Ukodhiko’s diverse background, describing him as an astute businessman, tactical politician, and notable figure in Nigeria’s Green Chambers. He noted that Ukodhiko’s selection was based on his antecedents as a well-traveled businessman, a man of God, and a philanthropist.
The event, scheduled for Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at the Unity Hall, Government House, Asaba, will feature Vice Chancellor Prof. Stella Chinye Chiemeke of the University of Delta, UNIDEL, Agbor, as the guest speaker. The topic of her lecture will be “Flight Of Talents: Navigating Nigeria’s Brain Drain Predicament.”
Egugbo expressed gratitude to Governor Oborevwori for creating a conducive environment for the lecture and invited participants from around the world to attend. He highlighted the panelists for the event, including Dr. Barry Gbe, Special Adviser to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and Chief Philomena Ededey Ugheminaye, among others.
