Let Us Start The Year With Hope For A Better Nigeria – Ochor

ASABA/Nigeria: The Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Ochor Ochor has admonished Nigerians to have an open mind for a better nation, as they step into the New Year.

The Deputy Speaker made this call in his New Year Message, which was signed by his Press Secretary, Mr. Emmanuel Enebeli on Saturday, December 31, 2022.

Hon Ochor while congratulating his constituency and Nigerians for seeing the year 2023, thanked Him for the Grace which he showered the people, to go through the difficult times of the year 2022, with its planetary of economic and social challenges.

He charged them to be hopeful, especially since the year 2023 is an election year in the country, and it’s an opportunity for them to use their electoral power to decide the faith of Nigeria through their Permanent Voter Card, PVC.

“My dear people, I congratulate us all for the grace and mercy of God for us to see this new day, and the Beginning of Another Year, 2023.”

“I know the outgone year had been difficult for every one of us. It was tough, really tough. It was a year when the cost of living rosed to an unbearable state. But we were able to go through it to see the year 2023.”

“The situation had not changed, but I will urge you to have hope. Have hope as you will now have the power in the next few weeks to personally take action to change the precarious condition which we now faces with the economic and social pains of the high cost of living and deplorable security situation.”

“In February and March 2023. These are the months when you have to act by making use of your PVC to change the situation in Nigeria from bad to good. Our party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP is ready to rescue the country. Use your votes on these days to vote for the candidates of the PDP at all levels.

“Once again, I congratulate you, have hope alive as you celebrate.” He concluded.
