OLEH/Nigeria: In celebration of Nigeria’s 64th Independence anniversary, Mrs Abigail Warri, wife of the Chairman of Isoko South Local Government Area in Delta State, paid a heartfelt visit to orphanages and the Oleh General Hospital on Wednesday.
The visit, described as an “Independence commemoration visit,” saw the distribution of food, gifts, and cash donations to orphans and nursing mothers.
Accompanied by the Vice Chairman of the council, Theresa Ikrike, Majority Leader of the Legislative Arm, Sheen Eloho Eza, and other officials, Mrs Warri extended her compassion to the Ugholeh Orphanage in Oleh and the Gilgal Child Support Centre in Irri.
During the visit, she encouraged the children to see themselves as equals to those living with their parents, reminding them of their inherent self-worth and urging them to never give up on their dreams.
Mrs Warri further advised the children to focus on their education and maintain faith in God. Several food items, gifts, and cash were generously donated to support the orphanages.
