Isoko North Council Chairman Distributes Free Notebooks to Pupils in Support of Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda

OZORO/Nigeria: In a move aligned with the MORE agenda of Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, the Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Council, Hon. Prince (Elder) Godwin Ogorugba, on Wednesday distributed free notebooks to pupils in primary schools across the council area.

The distribution, carried out on behalf of the chairman by the Supervisor for Agriculture and Community Development, Thomas Akpoedafe, brought joy to the pupils, who celebrated with singing and dancing in appreciation of the gesture.

The initiative was part of Ogorugba’s commitment to alleviating the economic burden on parents, particularly during what he referred to as “these hard times” under the administration of President Bola Tinubu.

The council chairman emphasized that the distribution of the free notebooks was a small but significant step toward making life easier for the residents of Isoko North, particularly children, youths, and the elderly.

Ogorugba also highlighted the importance of education, describing it as the foundation of the nation’s future. He reassured the community that his administration remains dedicated to delivering on its promises and upholding the trust placed in him by the people.

The event was marked by the excitement of pupils and teachers, who expressed their gratitude with chants of “God Bless Chairman Ogorugba, God Bless Governor Oborevwori,” offering prayers and praises for both the local government chairman and the state governor. Their enthusiasm underscored the significance of the support for education at the grassroots level.
