OTIBIO/Nigeria: The chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area in Delta State, Hon. (Elder) Godwin Ogorugba, has unequivocally declared his commitment to the re-election of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in 2027.

Ogorugba made this assertion during a thank-you meeting with members of Otibio Ward 13, held in appreciation of their support for his victory and subsequent swearing-in as council chairman. Addressing the gathering, he expressed gratitude for their steadfast loyalty throughout his political journey.

“I deem it fit and necessary to invite my ward people today to appreciate all of you for always standing by me. It was a challenging and tortuous journey, but God saw me through the entire process. I must also thank my brother, Chief Kome Okpobor, and others who stood by me from the beginning to the end,” Ogorugba stated.

Highlighting his administration’s achievements, Ogorugba reiterated his dedication to advancing the MORE Agenda championed by Governor Oborevwori. He noted that several projects had been completed under his leadership, with others in progress to reinforce the governor’s development vision at the grassroots level.

“There is no vacancy in the Government House,” he declared. “I have no personal interest in 2027, only that of my boss, the governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori. For us to be taken seriously as an ethnic nationality, we must support him for a second term.”
