Islam, Peaceful Non – Violence Religion, Says Islamic Scholar

EFFURUN/Nigeria: An Islamic scholar, Ustaz Muhammad Muhajir Bin Muhammad has asserted Islam is a peaceful and nonviolence religion.
The Islamic scholar, who is a preacher of Islamic Propagators Centre, Warri made the assertion in an interaction with our correspondent at his Effurun residence during the just concluded Muslim festival of Eid- el-Fitr celebration.
He posited that the word ‘ Islam’ is derived from the word ‘peace’ and that it is therefore a misconception for anybody to attribute violence to the Islamic Religion.
Muhammad maintained that the Islamic religion was a total submission to the will of God and obedience to man.
He said further that Islam enjoins Muslim faithfuls to live in peace with themselves, with the Creator, with their neighbours and their communities.
“It is a complete way of life; a way of harmony. A good Muslim must not be part of violence; a good Muslim must not be part of anarchy,” he added
