Guwor Congratulates Orodje of Okpe Kingdom on 18th Coronation Anniversary
ASABA/Nigeria: The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has extended congratulations to the Chairman of the State’s Traditional Rulers Council and the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom, HRM Retired Major General Felix Mujakperuo, CFR, mni, on the occasion of his 18th coronation anniversary.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Nkem Nwaeke, Rt Hon Guwor lauded the Orodje for his exemplary leadership and substantial contributions to the development of the state and the nation at large. He expressed his wishes for the monarch to enjoy many more years of wisdom and good health as he continues his reign.
“The Okpe Monarch’s guidance and counsel have been invaluable to the government and people of Delta State,” Guwor remarked. “Your Majesty’s reign has been marked by exceptional leadership, wisdom, and vision, which have contributed significantly to the peace, unity, and development of our dear state.”
The Speaker, who also serves as the National Treasurer of the Conference of Speakers of State Houses of Assembly in Nigeria, emphasized the importance of the Orodje’s ongoing prayers and collaboration with the administration led by Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori. He called on the people of Okpe to continue their support, fostering further positive developments within the kingdom.
