Grace Mission Coordinators Pledge Loyalty to Governor Oborevwori and Isoko North Leadership

OLEH/Nigeria: The coordinators of the Grace Mission political group in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State have pledged their unwavering support for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, the Chairman of Isoko North Council, Godwin Ogorugba, and the State Organising Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Emmanuel Egbabor.

The commitment was expressed during a courtesy visit by the ward coordinators to Ogorugba at the council headquarters in Ozoro on Wednesday.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Mike Ijire, the Ward Coordinator of Oyede Ward 12, commended the pace of development, peace, and unity within the council since Ogorugba assumed office. He expressed confidence in the leadership of both Ogorugba and Egbabor, describing them as grassroots politicians who understand the needs of the Isoko people.

“We have absolute confidence in the leadership of our council chairman, Hon. Godwin Ogorugba, and the state PDP organising secretary, Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor, who has proven to be a round peg in a round hole. Their dedication to Isoko Nation’s progress is commendable,” Ijire stated.

The coordinators lauded Ogorugba’s prudent management of resources during his first 100 days in office, highlighting visible achievements in infrastructural development, human capital growth, and provision of basic amenities. They noted that these strides align with Governor Oborevwori’s MORE agenda for the state.

“Mr Chairman, we, the members of Grace Mission, Isoko North chapter, reaffirm our support for our amiable governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, your administration, and our leader, Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor. Together, we are confident in delivering progress and unity to Isoko North,” Ijire added.

In his response, Godwin Ogorugba expressed gratitude for the group’s visit and its support for his administration, as well as their alignment with Governor Oborevwori’s MORE agenda. He reassured the coordinators of his commitment to an open and inclusive government.

“With your support for me and His Excellency, I will remain focused on delivering my mandate. The projects you see today are only the beginning. Expect MORE projects to be executed across Isoko North,” Ogorugba declared.

The chairman further emphasised his administration’s dedication to delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of Isoko North, urging continued collaboration and solidarity from political groups and the community.
