Governor Oborevwori’s Induction into Urhobo Hall of Fame Applauded by Dr. Ighomrore
EFFURUN/Nigeria: The Senior Special Assistant, SSA to the Governor on Community Development, Dr. Patrick Ighomrore, has congratulated His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State, on his induction into the Hall of Fame of the Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) and the conferment of the prestigious title, ‘Omorotomo of Urhobo Land,’ by the traditional rulers of the Urhobo nation. Dr. Ighomrore described the double honours as a resounding acknowledgment of the governor’s unwavering commitment to the development of Urhoboland and Delta State at large.
Speaking on the historic event, which took place at the Urhobo House in Uvwiamuge, Agbarho, Ughelli North Local Government Area, Dr. Ighomrore noted that the recognition was not only a testament to Governor Oborevwori’s contributions to the Urhobo people but also a reflection of his visionary leadership and dedication to fostering unity, prosperity, and cultural heritage. He emphasized that the governor’s achievements continue to inspire hope and confidence in the future of Delta State.
