Governor Oborevwori Lauds Hon. Ndudi Elumelu on His 59th Birthday
ASABA/Nigeria: Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended his warm congratulations to former Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, on the occasion of his 59th birth anniversary.
In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, Governor Oborevwori commended Elumelu, who represented Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, for his outstanding contributions as a lawmaker, describing him as a shining example in parliament.
The governor highlighted Elumelu’s significant role in the Nigerian Parliament, particularly praising his leadership during the power sector investigation several years ago. He lauded Elumelu’s leadership and influence, both within and outside the Parliament, noting that he has been a guiding light and a role model for emerging politicians.
Governor Oborevwori expressed pride in Elumelu’s contributions to the nation’s development, especially his impactful leadership of the House’s committees on power and health from 2007 to 2010 and 2011 to 2015. He also acknowledged Elumelu’s tenure as the opposition’s leader in the National Assembly, highlighting his exemplary leadership during that period.
The governor concluded by congratulating Hon. Ndudi Godwin Elumelu, OON, on behalf of the government and people of Delta State, and wished him good health and continued success in his endeavors, expressing confidence that his achievements would inspire many in the ongoing nation-building process.
