Governor Oborevwori Congratulates Bishop David Oyedepo on 70th Birthday
ASABA/Nigeria: Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the founder and Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church, Dr. David Oyedepo, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, in Asaba, Governor Oborevwori praised Bishop Oyedepo for his exceptional contributions to the Christian faith and nation-building. He highlighted the Bishop’s enduring impact on the church through his prayers, teachings, and the nurturing of God-fearing followers both in Nigeria and across the world.
The Governor described Oyedepo as a role model and father figure whose leadership and dedication to the service of God and humanity are worth emulating.
“On this momentous day of your 70th birthday, I join your family and followers to celebrate a great man of faith who has served as an inspiring role model and an indefatigable teacher to many of us,” Oborevwori said. “Your outstanding service as a preacher, administrator, and leader of immense repute is well-documented, and we are immensely proud of your achievements, particularly in the leadership of Covenant and Landmark Universities.”
Governor Oborevwori further expressed gratitude for the Bishop’s life and the significant contributions he has made to the spiritual and social fabric of the nation.
“On behalf of my family, the Government, and the people of Delta State, I congratulate our father in the Lord, Bishop David Oyedepo, on reaching this milestone of 70 years,” he added. “We join the leadership and congregation of Living Faith Church, friends, and well-wishers in thanking Almighty God for your life, which has been a beacon of hope and spiritual guidance for so many.”
As Bishop Oyedepo enters the ranks of septuagenarians, Governor Oborevwori prayed for continued blessings, good health, and more years of impactful service.
“It is my prayer that Almighty God will continue to bless you with good health and many more years of happiness, as you continue to make valuable contributions to nation-building and the growth of God’s vineyard,” the Governor concluded.
