FLOOD: DTSG Establishes Information Response Unit
ASABA/Nigeria: The Delta State 2019 Flood Management Committee has established a Flood/information Response Unit domiciled in the Ministry of Information to collect and manage information concerning the impending flood as warned by the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET).
A statement signed by the Director of Information, Mr Paul Osahor stated that the Flood Response/Information Unit would be responsible for receiving and collating all complaints from flood impacted areas across the state and liaise with the State Flood Management Committee and other relevant agencies for appropriate action/response.
