ASABA/Nigeria: Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi, Member of the National Assembly representing Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency, has commended the Delta Online Publishers Forum (DOPF) for organising the 2024 Lecture Series.

He described the initiative as a commendable demonstration of the Forum’s commitment to fostering intellectual dialogue and addressing pressing national concerns.

In a statement, Hon. Ezechi praised the DOPF for creating a platform that consistently facilitates thought leadership in Delta State. He noted the critical importance of this year’s theme, “Security Challenges: Finding Implementable Local Solutions,” given the nation’s ongoing struggles with security issues.

“The theme of this year’s lecture is both timely and essential as our nation continues to contend with security challenges”.

“I am particularly delighted that ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer, delivered the keynote lecture. His wealth of expertise in security matters offered invaluable insights into practical, community-focused solutions,” Hon. Ezechi said.

He emphasised the need for collaborative efforts in addressing security concerns, urging stakeholders to adopt the actionable recommendations emerging from the discussions. According to him, such collective engagement is fundamental to building safer and more resilient communities.

Reaffirming his commitment to supporting initiatives that advance public discourse and development, Hon. Ezechi congratulated the DOPF on its outstanding efforts.

“Congratulations to the Delta Online Publishers Forum for spearheading this significant endeavour. Your dedication to promoting intellectual engagement and public enlightenment is making a profound impact on our society,” he concluded.

The 2024 Lecture Series, which brought together policymakers, security experts, and community leaders, served as a vital forum for exchanging ideas and exploring localised solutions to Nigeria’s security challenges.
