Environmental Advocate Extends Congratulations to President Tinubu on Supreme Court Victory
WARRI/Nigeria: Chief Sheriff Mulade, a prominent advocate for development and environmental justice in Delta State, has extended congratulations to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on his recent Supreme Court victory for the Presidential election in Nigeria.
Chief Mulade, who is widely known for his work in championing environmental causes and advocating for justice, made a call for all candidates to accept the outcome of the Presidential election result and the Supreme Court’s judgment. This appeal came as he firmly asserted his belief that the said judgment accurately reflects the wishes and aspirations of the Nigerian people.
The well-respected ambassador of peace further encouraged citizens to unite and work collaboratively with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to actualize his Renewed Hope Agenda for the Nigerian populace, while commending President Tinubu, he described him as a man of simplicity and sagacity, highlighting his track record as a former Governor of Lagos State, the commercial hub of Nigeria.
Mulade, who holds the title of Ibe-sorimowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom, is a critical stakeholder in the Niger Delta’s long-standing agitation for development, urged other candidates who contested in the Presidential election to gracefully accept the outcome and join hands with President Tinubu for the greater good of all Nigerians and the nation at large.
Furthermore, Chief Mulade charged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, with the responsibility of ensuring an all-inclusive government. This, he stressed, is essential for sustaining the existing peace across the nation and for attracting desirable developments that would enhance Nigeria’s international reputation. He emphasized that this should be done without regard to ethnic, political, or religious affiliations.
In a poignant reminder of the importance of moving forward, Chief Mulade pointed out that the election has come and gone, as have the litigations. He called for a renewed focus on building bridges of reconciliation, healing wounds, and embracing all aggrieved members and candidates who participated in the general elections. The overarching goal, he emphasized, should be to foster good governance, which will bring development to every corner of Nigeria in accordance with the principles of true democracy.
