Enebeli Seeks Support for Okowa’s Administration

Elder statesman and member of the Delta State Advisory and Peace Building Council, Pharm. Paul Enebeli has called on Deltans to key into Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s agenda for the speedy development of the state.
Chief Enebeli gave the advice while speaking with journalists after a meeting he had with members of constituency I, Ndokwa East local government area of the state

Those were at the meeting which had as its theme, “Maximizing the gains of a Governor of Anioma extraction,” include the Commissioner in charge of Bureau for Special Duties, Hon. Chika Ossai, Chairman, Governing Council, College of Education, Agbor, Chief Emma Onyeuku, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chairman in the area, Hon. Kingsley Ashibuogwu, renowned politicians, Barr. Sam Chukwuji, Chief Philip Dumbi, among others.

According to him, “there is need for us to sustain the agenda of Governor Okowa’s administration, we should key into his prosperity agenda for us to benefit maximally from his well thought-out programmes.”

Pharmacist Ebebeli specifically stated that Governor Okowa has been favourably disposed to the people of Ndokwa East in terms of patronage, and called on the people of the area to utilize the opportunity to develop themselves and unite for a progressive local government area.

He used the occasion to speak about the forthcoming congress of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stating that level playing ground would be provided for all candidates in the true spirit of democracy where the most acceptable persons will emerge as winners.

“We are expecting a rancour-free congress where love for one another and progress of the party should supersede every other considerations,” he said, adding, “as a people, we will be meeting regularly to chart a course for ourselves and the future of our children.”

Pharm. Ebebeli, lauded the large turnout of people for the meeting, observing that it shows the level of political consciousness among the people.
