My attention has been drawn to the recent arrest of a comedian known as “MC2Kindgom” following certain false and seditious statements made about Income Electrix Limited and myself on social media. I am deeply saddened by this and have swiftly intervened to ensure he is swiftly released, as my love for our is unconventional.

As a peace-loving person, I believe in dialogue, understanding, truth and mutual respect. My greatest commitment has always been the peace, unity and progress of all sons and daughters of the Isoko people, the people of Delta State, and Nigerians as a whole. Over the years, I have dedicated my time, resources, and energy, even at great personal cost, to uplifting Deltans, particularly the Isoko people as well as fostering unity and promoting development and progress, in every way within my reach.

It is important to acknowledge that beyond myself, many others especially within my company felt deeply hurt by the false insinuations made in the video. The aggrieved persons are particularly pained because, the comedian did not make any verification before publishing his first videos and went ahead to release additional videos that were even more damaging to the sterling reputation of the company, despite having been shown verifiable facts and information to demonstrate that the contents of this first videos were false and misleading.

I have always believed that as a people we must stand together, even in the face of challenges, to foster peace and progress and for decades, I have sacrificed and given my all to the progress and prosperity of Deltans, attracting, funding and executing diverse projects including human capital development projectsand nothing will ever change my deep love and commitment to Deltans.

Though the aggrieved parties are well within their rights to feel wronged, I have swiftly intervened and profusely appealed to them to sheath their swords in the interest of peace and unity. This is despite the fact that I, too, was greatly maligned, with numerous false and damaging statements and insinuations made against me, which I since chose to pay no attention to. If enduring such attacks is the price I must pay for my dedication to my people, I wholeheartedly accept it with an open heart.

My love for the Isoko Nation and my people remains unwavering. I will continue to work for our collective unity and progress.
