DTHA Impeachment Saga: PPA Blasts PDP
Asaba: The Progressive Peoples Alliance PPA, has described as embarrassing, regrettable and a show of shame the impeachment of the Rt. Hon. Monday Igbuya as the Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly.
The Party Chairman in Delta State, Mr Fred Obi who spoke in a chat with our Correspondent on the impeachment slammed on Igbuya, noted that a house that is divided against itself cannot stand.
“The impeachment of a Speaker and members of his party shows that PDP is a completely disorganized Political Party, so we should not expect much from them, for they out rightly do not believe in the rule of law. Otherwise how can a people that call themselves legislators wake up, sat at 7am and decided to remove the speaker with the flimsy excuses that cannot be substantiated.”
The party leader, however, called on all Deltans to: “watch out for this group of people and completely vote them out in the 2019 general elections and give Delta new faces and a fresh breath.”
