DOPF Hails Appointment of Ahon as Chief Press Secretary
ASABA/Nigeria: The Delta Online Publishers Forum (DOPF), a group of online news publishers in Delta state, has congratulated Festus Ahon on his appointment as Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
The forum’s Chairman and Secretary, Emmanuel Enebeli and Shedrack Onitsha, respectively, signed a congratulatory letter to Ahon, assuring him of their support in promoting the policies and programs of the Governor’s administration.
They also commended Governor Oborevwori for his choice of Ahon as his first appointment as governor, stating that it was a positive sign for the media community in the state.
The DOPF expressed its willingness to work with the new government and other stakeholders in promoting ethical journalism standards and professionalism among online publishers in Delta State.
