Dignitaries Extend Condolences to Comrade Fidelis Egugbo on His Mother’s Passing

ASABA/Nigeria: The Akor of Aika (Aleka) Ezeolu Kingdom in Ndokwa East Local Government Area of Delta State, Akor Emmanuel Obiechina, a University Don and first Minority Leader, Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Eugene Okolocha, Ph.D. and Hon. Uche Uraih, Ph.D, have joined in extending their heartfelt condolences to Comrade Fidelis Egugbo, the Senior Special Assistant, Media to the Governor of Delta State, following the loss of his mother, Deaconess Mary Egugbo.

In a message to Egugbo, Akor Emmanuel Obiechina expressed his profound sorrow, saying, “My dear Fidelis, I am heavily saddened to receive the news of the passing on to glory of your beloved mother. Please accept my heartfelt condolences and kindly pass the deeply felt condolences of my family and I to all members your family. May the Almighty God give you and your family the strength to bear her irreparable loss and may mama’s great soul rest in perfect peace, amen.”

Hon. Eugene Okolocha, on behalf of his family, offered his condolences as well, acknowledging the significance of Deaconess Mary Egugbo’s 70-year life span, stating, “Dear Fidelis, I have just read about the death of your dear mum. At 70, she made the Biblical age of longevity, but we would have been happier having her around much longer! God knows best. May He receive and rest her soul. May He also console the families that she left behind, and grant you all the enablement to accord her a deserving farewell. Kindly extend the obsequies once out. Please, accept our deepest sympathies and condolences and kindly extend same to the entire Egugbo clan.”

Hon. Uche Uraih, a public affairs analyst and real estate operator, the Chief Executive Officer of Sugarland Estates, shared his empathy with Comrade Fidelis Egugbo, saying, “I have been there, so, I feel your pain and loss, kindly accept our condolences.”

According to a statement signed by Elder Godwin Osademe and Comrade Fidelis Egugbo for the family and children of the deceased, the final journey of Deaconess Mary Egugbo will commence on Friday, December 29, 2023, with a Service of Songs, culminating with her interment on Saturday, December 30, 2023. The Service of Songs, Funeral Service, and Entertainment of Guests will all take place at the same venue, Ugiliamai, Onicha-Ukwuani in Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State.
